Pomorscy samorządowcy przeciwni planom połączenia firmy Energa ze PGE

Pomorscy samorządowcy piszą do premier Ewy Kopacz – zaniepokojeni planowaną konsolidacją sektora energetycznego, polegającą m.in. na przejęciu firmy Energa SA przez PGE SA.
„Prowadzone działania konsolidacyjne nie powinny doprowadzić do sytuacji, gdzie wszystkie duże przedsiębiorstwa zostaną zlokalizowane w Warszawie, a regiony będą się stawały coraz większą gospodarczą prowincją” – czytamy w piśmie podpisanym przez marszałka województwa i prezydentów: Gdańska, Sopotu i Gdyni. Wskazują oni, że Energa, jako wiodąca spółka Pomorza, napędza rynek, gwarantuje bezpośrednio i pośrednio miejsca pracy oraz jest sprawdzonym partnerem dla wielu samorządów. Pomorscy samorządowcy obawiają się też, że nadmierna konsolidacja sektora energetycznego będzie skutkowała pogorszeniem jakości usług i wzrost ceny za energię elektryczną. Dlatego w liście do premier Ewy Kopacz i Ministra Skarbu Państwa Włodzimierza Karpińskiego opowiadają się za pozostawieniem podmiotowości Energi. Ministerstwo Skarbu Państwa nie ujawnia zasad na jakich ma być przeprowadzona konsolidacja. Wiadomo tylko, że połączyć miałyby się: Energa i Polska Grupa Energetyczna oraz Enea i Tauron Polska Energia.
