Pomnik w Starzyńskim Dworze nie będzie zlikwidowany
Tzw. pomnik smutnego żołnierza w Starzyńskim Dworze w gminie Puck nie będzie zlikwidowany w związku z ustawą dekomunizacyjną.
– Mamy już opinie ekspertów z Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego, że pomnika nie trzeba likwidować – mówi wójt gminy Puck Tadeusz Puszkarczuk.
Gmina miała wątpliwości, czy powinny go objąć przepisy dotyczące eliminowania z przestrzeni publicznej symboli kojarzących się z systemami totalitarnymi. Pomnik przedstawia wprawdzie żołnierza Armii Czerwonej, ale upamiętnia jeńców zamordowanych przez hitlerowców pod koniec drugiej wojny światowej. Kwestię poruszano także na spotkaniach z mieszkańcami gminy Puck, którzy sprzeciwili się likwidacji pomnika w Starzyńskim Dworze. Pomnik w Starzyńskim Dworze odrestaurowano kilka lat temu, umieszczono też tablicę wyjaśniającą komu jest poświęcony.
