Północna odmiana języka kaszubskiego jest warta zachowania
Razem z Dziennikiem Bałtyckim i stowarzyszeniem Kaszëbskô Jednota, w związku z możliwością pojawienia się na Nordzie (Północnych Kaszubach) dwujęzycznych nazw miejscowości, gorąco zachęcamy, by domagali się Państwo pozostawienia bylackiego „l” w tych nazwach (zamiast standardowego „ł”).
Do wspólnego działania zapraszamy wszystkich, którzy chcą pomóc mieszkańcom kaszubskiej Nordy w zachowaniu belockiego zapisu nazw miejscowości na dwujęzycznych tablicach drogowych.
W Echu Ziemi Puckiej – lokalnym dodatku do Dziennika Bałtyckiego – opublikowany jest list otwarty w tej sprawie do Rady Języka Kaszubskiego. Można go wyciąć z gazety, podpisac i wysłać. Dostępna jest także elektroniczna forma listu otwartego na stronie www.petycjeonline.com.

Jutro, we Władysławowie, będą zbierane podpisy pod listem do Rady Języka Kaszubskiego na starcie i mecie Biegu Jedności Kaszubów.
Dialekt belocki w znacznym stopniu różni się od standardowej kaszubszczyzny, a różnica ta wyraża się na przykład w wymawianiu spółgłoski „L”, tam gdzie jest „Ł” w pozostałych odmianach języka kaszubskiego.
