Półmaraton Ziemi Puckiej w najbliższa sobotę
W najbliższą sobotę miłośnicy biegania spotkają się w Pucku, na Półmaratonie Ziemi Puckiej. Tegoroczna edycja ma szansę na frekwencyjne rekordy – swój udział zadeklarowała największa w historii imprezy liczba mieszkańców powiatu puckiego.
– Bieganie cieszy się rosnącą popularnością – mówi Waldemar Płomień z LKS.
Zmagania lekkoatletyczne na szlakach ziemi puckiej odbywają się nieprzerwanie od 32 lat. Najpierw na dystansie 50 km. 7 lat temu organizator, Lekkoatletyczny Klub Sportowy Ziemi Puckiej, zmienił formułę imprezy na półmaraton. Biegacze będą startować i finiszować na stadionie miejskim w Pucku, a 21 km trasy poprowadzi przez Błądzikowo, Żelistrzewo, Osłonino i Rzucewo. Do udziału w półmaratonie zgłosili się chętni z całej Polski, a także z zagranicy, m.in. z Danii, Norwegii i Białorusi – łącznie ponad 730 osób. I wciąż wpływają nowe zgłoszenia. – Mamy szansę na pobicie frekwencyjnych rekordów – mówi Waldemar Płomień. Biegacze wystartują w najbliższą sobotę o godzinie 15:00 ze stadionu miejskiego w Pucku.
Ze względu na zatłoczone drogi w szczycie sezonu letniego na Nordzie organizatorzy proszą zawodników o wcześniejsze przybycie na miejsce startu.
