Politechnika Gdańska zorganizowała dzień otwarty dla Pań
Żeby było więcej kobiet inżynierów – Politechnika Gdańska zorganizowała wczoraj dzień otwarty dla pań.
– Chcemy je przekonać że studia na kierunkach inżynierskich przynoszą satysfakcję – mówi koordynatorka wydarzenia Joanna Odya.
Uczelnia wzięła udział w dorocznej, ogólnopolskiej akcji „Dziewczyny na politechniki”. Dziedziniec Daniela Fahrenheita w gmachu głównym zapełnił się uczennicami, które przyjechały z całego regionu by wziąć udział w warsztatach i pokazach oraz zwiedzić wybrane wydziały. Oprócz dziewcząt z liceów i techników po raz pierwszy ofertę prezentowano też gimnazjalistkom.
Największym zainteresowaniem wśród przyszłych studentek Politechniki Gdańskiej cieszy się wydział architektury i wydział chemiczny – około 70 proc. studentów stanowią tam kobiety; na drugim biegunie jest wydział elektrotechniki i automatyki – tu płeć piękna to tylko 10 proc. składu osobowego. Czy uczestniczki dnia otwartego zasilą ich szeregi – przekonamy się jesienią.
