Policyjni „wodniacy” z Pucka pomogli windsurferowi
Patrol z ogniwa prewencji na wodzie pełniący służbę na Zatoce Puckiej dostrzegł mężczyznę dryfującego na desce windsufingowej.
Był to turysta z Opola. Jak się okazało, mężczyźnie brakowało sił na postawienie żagla, a dodatkowo nie był w stanie płynąć. Robiło się coraz zimniej, wiał silny wiatr i zaczął padać deszcz. Policjanci wzięli deskę na hol, po czym bezpiecznie dopłynęli z mężczyzną do brzegu oddalonego o kilkaset metrów. Dbanie o bezpieczeństwo wypoczywających nad Zatoką Pucką to jedno z zadanie policyjnych „wodniaków” z Pucka. Prowadzą także wspólne działania m.in. ze strażą rybacką i WOPR, likwidują też sieci zastawiane przez kłusowników. Ostatnio w połowie sierpnia zabezpieczyli dwa zestawy rybackich sieci i trzy pułapki wykonane przez kłusowników.
