Policjanci zatrzymali podejrzanych o handel fikcyjnymi kwaterami
To mieszkańcy województwa dolnośląskiego w wieku od 23 do 24 lat. Rozpracowali ich funkcjonariusze z gdyńskiej komendy specjalizujący się w zwalczaniu przestępstw gospodarczych.
Z ich ustaleń wynika że podejrzani działali na terenie niemal całej Polski. Trudnili się fikcyjnymi sprzedażami oraz wynajmowaniem kwater za pośrednictwem portali internetowych. Dwóch było już poszukiwanych przez wymiar sprawiedliwości. Ukrywali się w Sopocie. Podczas zatrzymania policjanci zabezpieczyli dowody ich przestępczej działalności – dokumenty, komputery, telefony i ponad sto kart SIM. Zatrzymani trafili z Gdyni do komendy Policji w Środzie Śląskiej gdzie toczy się ogólnopolskie postępowanie w ich sprawie. Przestępstwo oszustwa jest zagrożone karą do 8 lat więzienia.
Policja uczula, by przed wynajęciem kwatery przez internet upewnić się czy dany obiekt istnieje i np. sprawdzić ofertę na jego oficjalnej stronie. Robiąc zakupy w sieci unikajmy podejrzanie niskich cen oraz sprzedawców, których wiarygodności nie jesteśmy w stanie potwierdzić.
