Połączenie służb podatkowych oznacza lepsze wykorzystanie ich potencjału – ocenia dyrektor Izby Administracji Skarbowej w Gdańsku Tomasz Słaboszowski.
Nowy urząd powstał z początkiem marca, gdy utworzono Krajową Administrację Skarbową. W naszym województwie oznacza to połączenie Izby Celnej w Gdyni, Urzędu Kontroli Skarbowej w Gdańsku oraz gdańskiej Izby Skarbowej – wyjaśniał szef Izby Administracji Skarbowej w Gdańsku Tomasz Słaboszowski. Siatka urzędów skarbowych pozostała bez zmian. Natomiast urząd celno – skarbowy, poza działaniami związanymi z przejściami granicznymi, ma realizować twardą, bardziej represyjną formę kontroli w stosunku do grup przestępczych. Reforma zniosła ograniczenia terytorialne. Każdy z nowych 16 naczelników urzędu celno-skarbowego może przeprowadzić kontrolę firm w dowolnym miejscu kraju.
