Pokazują spawanie światłowodów i ciekawe doświadczenia fizyczne – Wejherowski „Elektryk” zaprasza na Dni Otwarte Funduszy Europejskich w swoje mury, by odwiedzający naocznie się przekonali się, jak szkoła spożytkowała unijne środki.
– Bez środków pozyskanych z Unii nie moglibyśmy utrzymywać naszej oferty edukacyjnej na tak wysokim poziomie jak obecnie – mówi dyrektor „Elektryka” Krystyna Grubba.
Wycieczka po Zespole Szkół Nr 2 zaczyna się od prezentacji filmu podsumowującego 50 lecie działalności, potem zwiedzający oglądają wyposażone za pół mln złotych szkolne pracownie. Wysokiej klasy komputery czy kosztująca niemal 50 tysięcy złotych spawarka do światłowodów – to przykład sprzętów zdobytych dzięki unijnym projektom, które zmieniły oblicze szkoły. Były też kursy dla uczniów i nauczycieli – m.in. z komunikacji, czy prawa jazdy. – Także te specjalistyczne, niezbędne w pracy elektryka – informuje kierownik szkolenia praktycznego Jarosław Wiżny-Jastrzębski. Wejherowski „Elektryk” skorzystał łącznie z siedmiu różnych unijnych dotacji. Dni Otwarte Funduszy Europejskich to ogólnopolska akcja, potrwa do niedzieli. W jej ramach atrakcje przygotowano w wielu miejscach na Kaszubach.
