Pokaz mody ekologicznej i konkursy – świętowali Dzień Energii
W strojach ze starych gazet, butelek i folii kościerska młodzież prezentowała się na rynku miasta. Pokaz mody ekologicznej był punktem kulminacyjnym obchodzonego wczoraj Kościerskiego Dnia Energii.
Stoiska informujące o odnawialnych źródłach energii przygotowały wszystkie szkoły i gimnazja w mieście. Były też występy artystyczne i konkursy dla uczestników. Organizatorem Kościerskiego Dnia Energii był Urząd Miasta, który na działania związane z efektywnością energetyczną chce pozyskać z Unii Europejskiej prawie 20 mln złotych. Władze Kościerzyny planują m.in. zastąpienie piecem gazowym miejskiej kotłowni opalanej węglem, rozbudowę sieci ciepłowniczej i energetycznej oraz stworzenie miejskiego Centrum Zarządzania Energią.
