Podsumowali pierwsze 100 dni kadencji powiatu
Spłacili pół miliona złotych długu i zmniejszyli liczbę wydziałów oraz pracowników w starostwie – to pierwsze oszczędnościowe sukcesy zarządu powiatu kościerskiego. Wczoraj na konferencji podsumowano pierwsze 100 dni nowej kadencji.
– Ma to dać rocznie 100 tysięcy złotych oszczędności – mówi starosta Alicja Żurawska.
Zadłużenie samorządu wciąż sięga 40 milionów złotych. Władze w ciągu najbliższych 3 lat chcą zmniejszyć je o ¼. Wśród pierwszych działań było przyjęcie planu naprawy finansów a także reorganizacja pracy w samym starostwie. Zlikwidowano Wydział Rozwoju, Rady i Zarządu Powiatu a także Wydział Komunikacji Społecznej i Promocji. Liczbę naczelników zmniejszono do pięciu, a 3 osoby pożegnały się z pracą. Szczegóły zmian w jednostkach podległych powiatowi mają być znane do czerwca. Kolejnym priorytetem władz powiatu w tym roku jest sprzedaż nieruchomości na kwotę prawie 3 mln złotych. To między innymi działki w Lubaniu i Piechowicach, a także wysoka i niska część internatu przy Powiatowym Zespole Szkół Publicznych nr 3 w Kościerzynie, budynek po byłym laboratorium przy ulicy Świętojańskiej oraz działka przy ulicy Słonecznej w Kościerzynie.
