Podpisali umowę na 2,5 miliona złotych dla rumskiej edukacji
Ponad 2,5 miliona złotych na nowe pracownie, szkolenia i zajęcia dodatkowe – trafi do szkół w Rumi. Tamtejszy samorząd podpisał z przedstawicielami Urzędu Marszałkowskiego umowę na dofinansowanie z Europejskiego Funduszu Społecznego.
– Minimalny wkład własny gmin był jedną z kluczowych pozycji podczas negocjacji z Komisją Europejską – mówi wicemarszałek województwa pomorskiego Wiesław Byczkowski.
To jeden ze 118 konkursów jakie wojewódzki samorząd rozpisał na podniesienie poziomu edukacji na Pomorzu. Jak podkreśla burmistrz Rumi Michał Pasieczny – to ogromna pomoc, bo oświata to jedno z największych obciążeń w gminnych budżetach. Rumski projekt obejmie osiem szkół – w każdej z nich powstanie multidyscyplinarna pracownia, będą dodatkowe zajęcia dla uczniów, wyjazdy edukacyjne, koła zainteresowań. Do tego 200-u nauczycieli skorzysta ze szkoleń. Potrzeba na to 2 miliony 660 tysięcy zł, z czego z miejskiej kasy pochodzić będzie 130 tysięcy.
W Rumi czekają teraz na rozstrzygnięcie kolejnego konkursu, tym razem na wsparcie rozbudowy przedszkoli. Dofinansowanie również ma sięgnąć 95 procent kosztów.
