Medalista Piotr Chrapkowski odwiedził Kartuzy
Brązowy medalista mistrzostw świata w piłce ręcznej w Katarze – Piotr Chrapkowski odwiedził Kartuzy. Spotkał się z burmistrzem, władzami klubu GKS Cartusia, gdzie rozpoczynał przygodę ze szczypiorniakiem oraz uczniami Zespołu Szkół nr 2, gdzie uczęszczał przez 10 lat szkolnych.
Lewy rozgrywający reprezentacji Polski grał w AZS Gdańsk i Orlen Wisła Płock. Obecnie jest zawodnikiem Vive Targi Kielce – jednej z najlepszych drużyn w Europie. Na rozegranych niedawno mistrzostwach świata w Katarze polscy szczypiorniści zdobyli brązowy medal. Pochodzący z Goręczyna zawodnik miał okazję wczoraj powspominać czasy szkolne, porozmawiać z dzieciakami o piłce ręcznej i pochwalić się medalem mistrzostw świata. Podczas wizyty w Kartuzach burmistrz Grzegorz Gołuński wręczył szczypiorniście krawat z haftami kaszubskimi, tabakę oraz flagę Kartuz. Od pierwszych kartuskich trenerów zawodnik otrzymał pamiątkowe tabliczki. (Fot. www kartuzy.pl)
