Piłkarze WKS Gryf będą promować Wejherowo
Piłkarze WKS Gryf będą promować Wejherowo – drużyna seniorów otrzymała 200 tys. zł od miejskiego samorządu. Wejherowski klub otrzymał także 45 tys zł na szkolenie młodzieży.
– Wspieramy Gryfa, bo jest dla Wejherowa znakomitą wizytówką – mówi prezydent Krzysztof Hildebrandt.
Miasto doceniło sukcesy czarno – żółtych w drugiej lidze i liczy na więcej. To już druga pokaźna dotacja dla piłkarzy w tym miesiącu, dwa tygodnie temu klub otrzymał od powiatowego starostwa 40 tysięcy złotych. – Na poziomie drugiej ligi koszty są niemałe – mówi prezes WKS Gryf Piotr Waga. Poza Gryfem pieniądze na sportową promocję miasta w tym roku otrzymały kluby: Tytani – 70 tys. zł na rozgrywki II ligi piłki ręcznej, Uczniowski Klub Sportowy „Ósemka” – 10 tys. zł na ekstraligę seniorów w unihokeju oraz Wejherowski Klub Kulturystyczny i Sportów Siłowych „APOLLO” – 4 tys. zł.
