Pierwsze na Pomorzu centrum opieki geriatrycznej powstanie w Sopocie
W Sopocie powstanie pierwsze na Pomorzu centrum opieki geriatrycznej. Podpisano już umowę w sprawie dofinansowania, budowa ma ruszyć jesienią tego roku.
Wartość projektu to około 25-u mln zł. Zarząd Województwa Pomorskiego przyznał na ten cel 19 mln zł z funduszy europejskich, 5 mln zł to tzw. wkład własny Sopotu. Pieniądze zostaną wydane na rozbudowę Wojewódzkiego Zespołu Reumatologicznego, zakup sprzętu medycznego i wyposażenia. Na liście zakupów są m.in. tomograf komputerowy, cyfrowy aparat rentgenowski, densytometr do badania gęstości kości, urządzenia do światłolecznictwa, elektroterapii, magnetoterapii, krioterapii ultradźwiękowej, terapii ultradźwiękami i promieniami laserowymi. Projekt przewiduje również szkolenia i kursy dla personelu lekarskiego, pielęgniarskiego, fizjoterapeutów i rehabilitantów.
Centrum opieki geriatrycznej w Sopocie ma powstać w trzecim kwartale 2019 roku. Ma to być modelowy ośrodek kompleksowej, zintegrowanej opieki nad osobami w wieku powyżej 60 lat.
