Pierwsza na Pomorzu pływalnia olimpijska powstanie w Gdyni
W Gdyni powstanie pływalnia olimpijska i będzie to pierwszy tego typu obiekt na Pomorzu. Aby basen spełniał oczekiwania mieszkańców, miasto postanowiło uruchomić otwarte konsultacje społeczne.
Samorząd złożył tydzień temu wniosek do Ministerstwa Sportu i Turystyki o wpisanie tego przedsięwzięcia do programu inwestycji o szczególnym znaczeniu dla sportu. Pływalnie o wymiarach olimpijskich najbliższe Trójmiasta znajdują się dopiero w Olsztynie i Poznaniu. Gdyński basen ma mieć 50 metrów długości, ruchome dno i specjalną konstrukcję pozwalającą na szybką zmianę głębokości. Według wstępnego projektu ma być też 25-o metrowy basen rozgrzewkowy, strefa rekreacji ze zjeżdżalniami, sztuczną rzeką, masażami, brodzikami. Do tego strefa odnowy biologicznej, punkt gastronomiczny i sklep sportowy. O tym co jeszcze powinno znaleźć się w projekcie samorząd oprócz klubów sportowych i szkółek pływackich pyta także mieszkańców Gdyni. Konsultacje społeczne potrwają do 10-go kwietnia, sugestie można nadsyłać mailem – na adres plywalniaolimpijska@gdyniasport.pl.
