Pieniądze w ramach ekograntów rozdało wejherowskie starostwo
Ponad 180 tysięcy złotych przekazało wejherowskie Starostwo Powiatowe na 12 projektów ochrony środowiska. Pieniądze pochodzą z grzywn nakładanych za dewastację ekosystemu.
– Problem zaśmiecania wód wciąż jest ogromny, dlatego pociągamy do odpowiedzialności winnych i wspieramy tych, którzy z tym zjawiskiem walczą – mówi wejherowska starosta, Gabriela Lisius.
Dotacje sfinansują zadania związane z gospodarką wodną, ze szczególnym naciskiem na oczyszczanie rzek i jezior w powiecie wejherowskim. 130 tysięcy złotych z grzywn podzielono między koła wędkarskie, społeczne straże rybackie czy Spółkę Wodną z Kniewa. Pozostałe 50 tysięcy przeznaczono na jedyny program nie powiązany z ochroną wód – otrzymał je Gryf Wejherowo na zazielenienie miejskiego stadionu. – Wsparcie naszej działalności ze strony samorządów nie jest standardem, wejherowski starostwo powiatowe wyróżnia się na tym tle – mówi Jerzy Kujwaski ze spółki Małe Elektrownie Wodne. Dodaje Prezes Zarządu Gdańskiego Okręgu Polskiego Związku Wędkarskiego, Stanisław Lisak. Najbardziej zanieczyszczoną rzeką powiatu wejherowskiego jest Reda – co roku w kilkunastu akcjach jej czyszczenia wyławianych jest kilkadziesiąt ton śmieci.
