Prosument to osoba bądź spółdzielnia, która wytwarza energię i która z niej korzysta – czyli jest jednocześnie producentem i konsumentem. – Efektem ekologicznym programu Prosument ma być coroczne ograniczenie emisji CO2, dlatego dotacje i pożyczki są udzielane na źródła ciepła opalane biomasą, pompy ciepła, kolektory słoneczne czy choćby elektrownie wiatrowe – mówi Michał Leszczyński z Wojewódzkiego Funduszu Ochrony Środowiska i Gospodarki.
