Pielgrzymką wodną i pieszą uczczono odpust św. Anny
To tradycja, która nas łączy i przypomina naszą historię – mówiono podczas odpustu św. Anny nad Jeziorem Żarnowieckim. Swą historyczną tożsamość Kaszubi z Nadola i okolic manifestowali podczas tradycyjnej pielgrzymki wodno – pieszej do żarnowieckiego kościoła Zwiastowania Pańskiego.
– To piękny przykład w naszej historii, kiedy to co nas mogło podzielić, nas połączyło – mówili wójt gminy krokowa Henryk Doering.
Zwyczaj ten sięga czasów dwudziestolecia międzywojennego, kiedy to Nadole w gminie Gniewino było jedyną polską wsią wśród otaczających ją niemieckich terenów. Aby wziąć udział w mszy Kaszubi z Nadola co niedzielę pokonywali jezioro do Lubkowa, skąd już pieszo udawali się do żarnowieckiego kościoła, którego patronką jest św. Anna. W sobotę, jak co roku, odtworzono tę historyczną drogę podczas odpustu patronki. Żarnowiecki odpust św. Anny to jedyna jeziorna pielgrzymka w Polsce.
