Nie o miejsca pracy się boimy, ale o zapewnienie usług medycznych w powiecie – mówili pracownicy puckiego szpitala na debacie o przyszłości placówki. Połączenie jej ze szpitalem w Wejherowie, czyli obu spółek pod jednym zarządem, usprawni ich działanie i polepszy obsługę pacjentów – argumentował pucki starosta powiatowy Jarosław Białk.
Władze powiatu zaprosiły wczoraj do rozmów mieszkańców, pracowników szpitala, dyrektora wejherowskiej lecznicy i przedstawicieli urzędu marszałkowskiego. Dyskusja była burzliwa, dominowały w niej obawy o ograniczenie działalności bądź wręcz likwidację puckiego szpitala. Chirurgia powinna w puckim szpitalu zostać – oświadczył prezes wejherowskiego Szpitala Specjalistycznego Andrzej Zieleniewski. Jego zdaniem trzeba doinwestować oddział Internistyczny, Izbę Przyjęć i poradnie, nie ma natomiast w Pucku racji bytu oddział ginekologiczno-położniczy. Zielone światło dla połączenia obu spółek dali już radni sejmiku województwa pomorskiego, temat mają na początku czerwca podjąć radni powiatu puckiego.
