Ostatnie dni Wielkiego Tygodnia w kaszubskiej obrzędowości
Przesadzanie drzew, krzewów i kwiatów, smaganie domowników gałązką agrestu oraz sprzątanie domu – w kaszubskiej obrzędowości duże znaczenie miały ostatnie dni Wielkiego Tygodnia.
– Był to też idealny dzień na sadzenie drzew, krzewów i kwiatów – objaśnia dyrektor Muzeum Kaszubskiego w Kartuzach Barbara Kąkol.
W Wielki Czwartek gotowano i farbowano jajka wielkanocne, głównie na czerwono i żółto. Również w piątek sprzątano domostwa i posesje, a śmieci wyrzucano za płot sąsiadowi. W Wielką Sobotę święcono ogień, a na Półwyspie Helskim w sobotni wieczór chłopcy chodzili z klekotkami. Dawniej nie był znany na Kaszubach zwyczaj „święconki”. Dopiero w 20. wieku zaczęto przynosić do kościoła pokarmy w koszyku żeby je poświęcić.
