Ostatnie dni walki o nagrodę im. Andrzeja Zawady
W Gdyni ostatnie dni, by powalczyć o nagrodę, która pozwala spełniać podróżnicze marzenia. Chodzi o Nagrodę im. Andrzeja Zawady od 15 lat przyznawaną młodym i odważnym ludziom na realizację ambitnych celów podróżniczo-eksploracyjnych.
Konkurs rozstrzygany jest na odbywających się w Gdyni Kolosach, czyli Ogólnopolskich Spotkaniach Podróżników, Żeglarzy i Alpinistów. Obok prestiżu płynącego z otrzymania statuetki od podróżniczych autorytetów, z nagrodą wiąże się wymierna korzyść finansowa. Zwycięzca otrzyma 15 tys. zł. wsparcia, ufundowanego przez prezydenta Gdyni Wojciecha Szczurka. Pieniądze są przeznaczone na sfinansowanie wymarzonej wyprawy. Mogą po nie sięgnąć osoby, które nie ukończyły 35 lat lub drużyny, których średnia wieku nie przekracza 35 lat. Pod uwagę brana jest oryginalność i jakość projektu oraz dorobek podróżniczy uczestników konkursu. W ubiegłym roku roku nagroda im. Andrzeja Zawady trafiła do Maćka Kamińskiego i Michała Worocha – zaimponowali Kapitule Kolosów pomysłem półrocznej wyprawy do Ameryki Południowej dostosowanym do ich potrzeb samochodem.
Zgłoszenia można przesyłać do niedzieli 15 stycznia na adres Urzędu Miasta Gdyni przy ulicy 10 lutego 24.
