Jeszcze tylko dzisiaj osoby niepełnosprawne mogą zgłaszać chęć głosowania korespondencyjnego. Chęć głosowani korespondencyjnego trzeba zgłosić wójtowi, burmistrzowi bądź prezydentowi miasta w formie ustnej, pisemnej bądź elektronicznie. Prawo do oddania głosu przez pocztę mają osoby z orzeczeniem o znacznym lub umiarkowanym stopniu niepełnosprawności. Wyborca, który złożył wniosek najpóźniej w poniedziałek, 10 listopada powinien otrzymać do rąk własnych pakiet wyborczy: zaadresowaną kopertę zwrotną i karty do głosowania. Po zaznaczeniu kandydatów karty trzeba włożyć do koperty i zakleić. Następnie tę zaklejoną kopertę wraz z podpisanym oświadczeniem trzeba włożyć do koperty zwrotnej i przekazać za pokwitowaniem, pracownikowi Poczty Polskiej. Pracownik powinien zgłosić się po odbiór pakietu najpóźniej w piątek, 14 listopada. Przesyłka przekazywana jest bezpłatnie. Kolejnym ułatwieniem dla osób niepełnosprawnych a także osób starszych powyżej 75 roku życia jest głosowanie przez pełnomocnika. Wniosek w tej sprawie trzeba złożyć do piątku, 7 listopada.
