Ósma edycja Białej Wstążki ruszyła w Gdyni
Nie bądź obojętny, zaprotestuj przeciw przemocy – zachęcają w Gdyni. Ruszyła tam ósma edycja kampanii społecznej „Biała Wstążka” – w ramach największej na świecie akcji ukierunkowanej na zatrzymanie przemocy wobec kobiet.
– Najważniejsze jest nagłośnienie problemu i pokazanie, że nie jest on nierozwiązywalny – mówi Cezary Horewicz z gdyńskiego MOPS.
Biała wstążka prowadzona jest w ponad 55 krajach, skierowana do mężczyzn by sprowokować dyskusję na temat stosowania przemocy wobec kobiet. W Gdyni akcję organizują piąte Liceum Ogólnokształcące oraz Miejski Ośrodek Pomocy Społecznej. Przemoc może mieć różne formy, ale każda z nich oznacza słabość sprawcy. Kampania potrwa do 10 grudnia – odbędą się m.in. warsztaty i konkursy w gdyńskich szkołach, w wybranych punktach miasta prowadzone będą też akcje informacyjne i rozdawane białe wstążeczki.
