Orkiestra Dęta z Wejherowa zagra na Open’er Festival. Muzycy staną się częścią największego Big Bandu Europy.
– Ten projekt wyciąga orkiestry z muzycznych szufladek i pokazuje ich nowoczesne oblicze – mówi dyrektor Gminnego Ośrodka Kultury w Gościcinie, Natasza Sobczak.
Na rozpoczętym wczoraj w Gdyni Festiwalu wystąpią największe sławy muzyki ze świata, a wśród nich Rebel Babel Ensamble. To międzynarodowa grupa, która chce ożywić dawną świetność ochotniczych orkiestr dętych poprzez udział w popkulturowych imprezach i fuzję ze współczesną muzyką. To właśnie na ich zaproszenie muzycy z Wejherowa wezmą udział w projekcie utworzenia największego Big Bandu Europy na festiwalu Open`er, gdzie przygrywać będą do raperskich piosenek. Orkiestra Dęta Gminy Wejherowo wybrana została z wielu okolicznych zespołów muzycznych, a ich nietypowego koncertu będziemy mogli posłuchać jutro o godzinie 16:30 na kosakowskim lotnisku.
