Orkiestra Begama świętowała swoje 40–lecie
Jest jedyną szkolną orkiestrą dętą na Pomorzu i w miniony piątek świętowała swoje 40 – lecie. Orkiestra Begama działa przy Powiatowym Zespole Szkół nr 1 w Kościerzynie, popularnym ekonomiku.
Uczniowie często dopiero tam zaczynają naukę gry na instrumentach dętych. Orkiestra uświetnia uroczystości szkolne, miejskie i powiatowe. Na stałe wpisała się w historię miasta – podkreślali uczestnicy jubileuszowego koncertu Begamy. Na 40-lecie powstała książka o historii orkiestry, jej autorem jest pierwszy kapelmistrz Antoni Wencki.
