Opracują plan walki z próchnicą u najmłodszych dzieci
W Kościerzynie będą walczyć z próchnicą u najmłodszych dzieci. Wczoraj radni miasta zdecydowali o rozpoczęciu prac przy opracowaniu trzyletniego planu profilaktyki.
– Każde z nich przejdzie obowiązkowe badania stomatologiczne i leczenie zębów – zapowiada Ewa Chmielecka z Urzędu Miasta w Kościerzynie.
Według ogólnopolskich statystyk zepsute zęby ma ponad 85 procent 6-latków i aż 95 procent 18-latków. Problem nazywany jest już powszechnie epidemią próchnicy u dzieci. Walczyć chcą z tym urzędnicy w Kościerzynie. Według wstępnego planu profilaktyką zostaną objęte dzieci w wieku od 8 do 12 lat we wszystkich szkołach podstawowych. Realizacja programu w szkołach ma rozpocząć się w połowie przyszłego roku.
