Odwiedzający groby na cmentarzach w Gdyni, Kosakowie i Rumi hojnie wsparli gdyńskie hospicjum – kwesta będzie prowadzona jeszcze dzisiaj. Zaangażowało się w nią ponad 700 wolontariuszy – w tym młodzież szkolna, trójmiejscy sportowcy, artyści, samorządowcy.
Puszki zapełniały się już przed południem. – Tak jest co roku, bo Dzień Wszystkich Świętych i Zaduszki skłaniają ludzi do głębszej refleksji – mówi koordynatorka wolontariuszy z gdyńskiego hospicjum Katarzyna Ziemnicka. Dziękował prezydent Gdyni Wojciech Szczurek, tradycyjnie już kwestujący na cmentarzu na Witominie. Kwesta na rzecz Hospicjum im. Świętego Wawrzyńca będzie tam dziś kontynuowana do godzin popołudniowych, podobnie jak w gdyńskich nekropoliach: przy ulicy Spokojnej i Marynarki Wojennej na Oksywiu oraz cmentarzach w Kosakowie i Rumi.
