Szpital w Gdyni Redłowie doczekał się oddziału ginekologiczno-położniczego na miarę 21 wieku.
– Oddział zmodernizowano za prawie 5 milionów złotych, niemal w całości ze środków samorządu województwa Pomorskiego – mówi członek zarządu województwa Paweł Orłowski.
Oddano tam wczoraj do użytku 4 sale porodowe z pełnym węzłem sanitarnym, sale operacyjne z nowoczesnym sprzętem. Przyszłe mamy mogą wybierać między różnymi metodami porodu. Jeszcze przed rokiem na kilka sal przypadała jedna toaleta, pacjentki wolały rodzić w Gdańsku czy Kartuzach. Modernizacja zapewniła przyszłym mamom większy komfort, uprzyjemniła też pracę personelowi – od lat cieszącemu się uznaniem pacjentek. Zmodernizowany oddział położniczy szpitala w Gdyni Redłowie czeka jeszcze na ustawienie mebli i sprzętów, w ciągu kilku dni ma zacząć pracę.
