Odcinkowy pomiar prędkości na Rekowskiej Górce
Odcinkowy pomiar prędkości ma zostać wprowadzony na tzw. Rekowskiej Górce. Mają poprawić bezpieczeństwo na wojewódzkiej 216 między Redą, a Rekowem Górnym.
– Kończymy załatwianie formalności – mówi zastępca dyrektora do spraw utrzymania dróg w gdańskim Wojewódzkim Zarządzie Dróg Tomasz Miler.
Bramki pomiarowe mają zostać zainstalowane do końca bieżącego roku, co zakończy starania Wojewódzkiego Zarządu Dróg w Gdańsku. Pierwszym krokiem było uzyskanie zgody wojewódzkiego komendanta policji. Odcinkowy pomiar prędkości ma podnieść bezpieczeństwo na trasie, na której tylko w latach 2011-2014 doszło do 40 kolizji, w których zginęło 5 osób. Według wskazań policji, podstawową przyczyną tych wypadków była właśnie nadmierna prędkość. Bramki pomiarowe obsługiwać będzie Generalna Inspekcja Transportu Drogowego, ponadto na całym odcinku już tego lata dozwolona prędkość na Rekowskiej Górce zostanie ograniczona do 60 km na godzinę. Koszt inwestycji to około pół mln złotych.
