Samorządy będą współpracować przy realizacji inwestycji
Podpisaniem deklaracji o współpracy zakończył się pierwszy Konwent Samorządów Powiatu Wejherowskiego. Spotkanie odbyło się wczoraj w wejherowskim starostwie powiatowym, na zaproszenie starosty odpowiedzieli wszyscy wójtowie i burmistrzowie.
– Razem możemy wiele zrobić – mówi burmistrz Redy Krzysztof Krzemiński – przypominając choćby wybudowany przy współpracy z Rumią i władzami powiatu wejherowskiego ważny ciąg komunikacyjny, odciążający ruch na krajowej 6.
Konwent ma rozpocząć serię cyklicznych spotkań, które usprawnią współpracę pomiędzy samorządami. Wspólne działania mają objąć przede wszystkim pozyskiwanie środków unijnych, inwestycje drogowe i kanalizacyjne.
Szczególną uwagę samorządowcy zwracają też na transport zbiorowy. – Chcą m. in. usprawnić dojeżdżanie młodzieży do szkół – mówi starosta wejherowska Gabriela Lisius. Wczorajszy konwent samorządów powiatu wejherowskiego miał charakter inauguracyjny, pierwsze spotkanie robocze zaplanowano na 24 lutego. (Fot. www.wejher.com)
