Od 1 lipca nowe zasady gospodarowania śmieciami
Od dzisiaj zmieniają się zasady gospodarowania śmieciami. Odpowiedzialność za nie przejmuje gmina, a my – zwykli mieszkańcy – będziemy segregować śmieci a może nawet – jak chce ustawodawca – zmienimy świadomość ekologiczną.
Od dzisiaj zmieniają się zasady gospodarowania śmieciami. W większości gmin – mieszkańcy złożyli już odpowiednie deklaracje, rozstrzygnięte są już też przetargi na wywóz śmieci.
Przypomnijmy, że ideą nowej ustawy o utrzymaniu czystości w gminach jest zwiększenie ilości segregowanych śmieci. Resort środowiska chce, by nowa ustawa zmieniła nasze przyzwyczajenia dotyczące wyrzucania śmieci. Odpady mają zniknąć m.in. z dzikich wysypisk, lasów czy przydrożnych rowów. Mniej śmieci ma też trafiać na wysypiska, a ponowne wykorzystanie plastiku, szkła, metali, papieru ma wzrosnąć. Przykładowo w Niemczech stopień utylizacji śmieci sięga blisko 90 proc.
– U nas jest to jedynie 10 proc. Gminy miały 1,5 roku na przygotowanie się do nowego systemu. W wielu przypadkach mniej za śmieci zapłacą domostwa jedno czy dwuosobowe, większe opłaty czekają za to rodziny wielodzietne. Za wywóz śmieci w końcu zapłacą też letnicy, którzy chętnie odpoczywają na Kaszubach – mówi wójt turystycznej gminy Sulęczyno Bernard Grucza.
