Obwodnica Kartuz oficjalnie otwarta
Pierwsi kierowcy skorzystali z niej dziś rano. Nowy odcinek połączył dwie drogi wojewódzkie – nr. 211 i 224.
To pierwszy etap inwestycji, która ma odciążyć Kartuzy wyprowadzając ruch tranzytowy poza miasto. Wybudowano i przebudowano w sumie ponad 2 km dróg. Powstały dwa ronda – przy ulicach: Gdańskiej i 3 Maja. Do tego chodniki, ścieżki rowerowe, ciągi pieszo-rowerowe oraz trzy przepusty z przejściami dla małych zwierząt. Drogę otwarto 4 miesiące przed terminem, ku uldze kierowców. Podkreślał pomorski marszałek Mieczysław Struk. Budowa pierwszego etapu kartuskiej obwodnicy kosztowała ponad 18 mln zł. Samochody już nią jadą, choć drogowcy będą tam jeszcze pracować przez najbliższe tygodnie. Do wykonania są drobne prace wykończeniowe, zagospodarowanie terenu przy przepompowni wód deszczowych oraz uruchomienie instalacji oświetleniowej.
