Obwodnica Kartuz gotowa przed czasem
Trasa zostanie oddana do użytku w piątek rano. To pierwszy etap inwestycji, która ma rozwiązać komunikacyjne problemy miasta. Jego ukończenie planowano na początek przyszłego roku.
– Trzeba na to dużych sum, co nie znaczy że nie myślimy o dalszej budowie – mówi marszałek województwa Mieczysław Struk.
Wykonawca wyprzedził jednak plan i droga już połączyła dwa wyloty z Kartuz – w kierunku Żukowa i Przodkowa. Powstały dwa ronda, nowy – kilometrowy – odcinek jezdni, przebudowano część ulicy Węglowej. Kierowcy wyczekują oddania obwodnicy, bo poranne i popołudniowe godziny szczytu paraliżują miasto. Pierwszy odcinek obwodnicy większości problemów nie rozwiąże. Kluczowy będzie tu etap drugi, który ma umożliwić ominięcie miasta jadącym od strony Sierakowic. Pierwszy odcinek obwodnicy Kartuz kosztował 18 mln zł. Auta pojadą nim w piątek o ósmej rano. Na poboczach będą jeszcze prowadzone prace porządkowe – które jednak nie będą powodować utrudnień w ruchu i mają być zakończone w listopadzie.
