O tożsamości narodowej Ukrainy dyskutowano wczoraj w Gdańsku. Debata pomiędzy działaczami społecznymi z tego kraju towarzyszyła wernisażowi wystawy „W poszukiwaniu wolności. Ukraina po 25 latach niepodległości”.
Na Pomorzu, szczególnie zachodnim, mamy związki z Ukrainą i przesiedlanymi z niej ludźmi od lat. Obecnie nowa emigracja dociera do Gdańska – co roku kilka tysięcy Ukraińców wybiera to miasto na swój nowy dom. Jednak niewiele osób rozumie – jak zauważali dyskutanci – jak złożony jest to kraj. Mówił Yosyp Zisels, ukraiński działacz praw człowieka oraz mniejszości żydowskiej w Ukrainie. Dyskutowano o tym kraju, jako o dopiero tworzącym się, zróżnicowanym, pięknym, ale jednocześnie – szczególnie w obecnej sytuacji geopolitycznej – zwyczajnie słabym. Komentował Wasyl Rasewycz, redaktor naczelny działu opinii portalu Zaxid.net.
Wystawę „W poszukiwaniu Wolności – Ukraina po 25 latach niepodległości” można bezpłatnie oglądać w Nadbałtyckim Centrum Kultury. Opowiada o rewolucjach na Majdanie, obecnie toczącej się wojnie, walce Tatarów Krymskich, ale też o pięknie przyrody czy kulturze współczesnej Ukrainy – filmie i muzyce rockowej.
