Książnica prof. Gerarda Labudy. Rozstrzygnięto przetarg
O krok bliżej do budowy Książnicy profesora Gerarda Labudy w Wejherowie. Wejherowskie starostwo powiatowe rozstrzygnęło przetarg na wykonawcę zadania. Chętnych na przebudowę i adaptację budynków należących do zespołu Pałacowo-Ogrodowo-Parkowego było dwóch.
– To będzie ważna dodatkowa instytucja kultury dla miasta Wejherowa – ocenił wiceminister Jarosław Sellin.
Korzystniejszą ofertę złożył PHU Frontex z Wejherowa, jego kosztorys opiewa na 3 mln 370 tys zł. – Na potrzeby książnicy trzeba przebudować i gruntownie wyremontować dwa budynki – pisywała wejherowska starosta Gabriela Lisius. Na tę inwestycję powiatowy samorząd pozyskał 1 mln zł 400 tys. zł z Regionalnego Programu Operacyjnego Województwa Pomorskiego. Ponad pół mln zł przekazało też Ministerstwo Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego. Książnica ma powstać do połowy przyszłego roku. Ma łączyć funkcje nowoczesnej biblioteki i czytelni z centrum promocji kultury kaszubskiej i informacją turystyczną.
