Wystawa o Kaszubie, który wynalazł telewizję
O Kaszubie, który wynalazł telewizję – opowiada wystawa poświęcona Paulowi Nipkowowi dostępna w Muzeum Piśmiennictwa i Muzyki Kaszubsko-Pomorskiej w Wejherowie.
– Jego wynalazek – tarcza Nipkowa – zrewolucjonizował technologię odtwarzania ruchomych obrazów i otworzył kolejnym pokoleniom wynalazców furtkę do stworzenia telewizji – wyjaśnia doktor inżynier Piotr Szczuk.
Paul Nipkow urodził się w Lęborku w rodzinie Niemca i Kaszubki. Uczył się w Wejherowie, by potem wyjechać na studia w Berlinie. Wystawa poświęcona wynalazcy Nipkowowi jest wypożyczona z muzeum w Lęborku. W Wejherowie można ją oglądać do 10 grudnia. Dzisiaj natomiast w wejherowskim muzeum odbędzie się wernisaż wystawy fotograficznej – zdjęć zrobionych w Wejherowie na przełomie 19. i 20. wieku. Początek o 18:00.
