Na Witominie powstanie nowy żłobek, który zapewni co najmniej 78 dodatkowych miejsc dla najmłodszych mieszkańców Gdyni. Miasto od lat prowadzi politykę prorodzinną. W efekcie czego powstają żłobki, kluby dziecięce i punkty dziennych opiekunów. Nowy żłobek zostanie utworzony w dynamicznie rozwijającej się części Gdyni –mówi Bartosz Bartoszewicz, wiceprezydent Gdyni. Większość środków na budowę pochodzić będzie z budżetu miasta. Pozostała część –z dofinansowania z ministerialnego programu „Maluch+”.Staramy się jak najlepiej wspierać rodziny – podkreśla Beata Szadziul, pełnomocnik prezydenta ds rodziny. Obecnie w Gdyni działają dwa samorządowe żłobki: „Niezapominajka”mająca dodatkowo 4 filie oraz niedawno otwarty żłobek „Koniczynka”.Inwestycja przy ulicy Uczniowskiej 2 w dzielnicy Witomino ma zostać oddana do użytku na początku 2019 roku.
