Nowy pomysł rządu na poprawienie ściągalności płatności od kierowców
Nie zapłacisz mandatu, nie skasujemy Ci punktów – to nowy pomysł rządu na poprawienie ściągalności płatności od łamiących przepisy kierowców. Dziś punkty karne za wykroczenie na drodze anulowane są automatycznie po roku, według propozycji do której dotarła „Rzeczpospolita” byłyby kasowane dopiero po zapłaceniu mandatu. To pokłosie ubiegłorocznego raportu Najwyższej Izby Kontroli, z którego wynika że zaledwie 47 proc. ukaranych płaci mandaty dobrowolnie. 23 proc. odzyskują organy egzekucyjne – m.in. skarbówka, a pozostałe 30 proc. jest nie do ściągnięcia. Konkretne propozycje opracuje prawdopodobnie MSW. Jeżeli wejdą w życie, kierowca ukarany mandatem stanie przed wyborem: płaci i, tak jak dotychczas, punkty kasowane są mu po 12 miesiącach. Albo nadal są gromadzone na koncie bez żadnego limitu czasowego, jeśli nie uiści mandatu – co oznacza większe ryzyko utraty prawa jazdy. Wprowadzenie pomysłu w życie jest bardzo realne – ocenia „Rzeczpospolita”. Tym bardziej że od 2016 roku liczba punktów karnych będzie trafiała do Centralnej Ewidencji Kierowców – będzie więc łatwiej zatrzymać je w systemie.
