Nowy pododdział onkologiczny w kościerskim szpitalu
W kościerskim szpitalu dziś uroczyste otwarcie nowego pododdziału onkologicznego.
Liczy on w sumie 13 łóżek. Obejmuje sale chorych, pooperacyjne – z czterema monitorowanymi łóżkami oraz salę zabiegową, pozwalającą wykonywać tzw. małe procedury, m.in. z zakresu chirurgii gruczołu piersiowego. Koszt dostosowania pomieszczeń wraz z niezbędnymi zakupami sprzętu i wyposażenia wyniósł około 1 mln 300 tys. zł. Lokalizacja Pododdziału Chirurgii Onkologicznej w Kościerzynie w centrum regionu wpisuje się w mapę potrzeb zdrowotnych w zakresie onkologii.
W województwie pomorskim oddziały umożliwiające leczenie pacjentów onkologicznych rozmieszczone są bowiem w Gdańsku, Gdyni, Wejherowie i w Słupsku. Na południu województwa najbliższy oddział dedykowany pacjentom onkologicznym znajduje się w Bydgoszczy. Uroczyste otwarcie pododdziału chirurgii onkologicznej w szpitalu w Kościerzynie zaplanowano na godzinę 11:00.
