Nowy blok operacyjny powstanie w szpitalu w Wejherowie
Wejherowski szpital zostanie rozbudowany i doposażony – spółka Szpitale Pomorskie otrzymała dofinansowanie na ten cel. To kolejna lecznica, której modernizację wsparł w ostatnich dniach samorząd województwa.
– To będzie największa inwestycja w historii wejherowskiej placówki – podkreśla pomorski marszałek Mieczysław Struk.
66 mln zł stanowi wsparcie unijne z bieżącego RPO Województwa Pomorskiego, niecałe 35 mln zł pochodzi bezpośrednio z budżetu wojewódzkiego samorządu. Dodaje Paweł Orłowski, członek Zarządu Województwa Pomorskiego. Prace rozpoczną się we wrześniu 2019 roku, potrwają 2 i pół roku. Powstanie czterokondygnacyjny budynek, w nim 7 sal operacyjnych oraz oddziały chirurgii naczyniowej i rehabilitacji kardiologicznej. – Inwestycja ma zaspokoić potrzeby wejherowskiego szpitala i jego pacjentów na lata – mówi Andrzej Zieleniewski, wiceprezes zarządu spółki Szpitale Pomorskie. Pieniądze na rozbudowę szpitala w Wejherowie to część puli, którą samorząd województwa przeznaczył na modernizację lecznic. W ubiegłym tygodniu wsparcie otrzymały szpitale: w Gdańsku-Zaspie, Kościerzynie, Bytowie, Chojnicach i Kartuzach. Następne w kolejce są lecznice w Malborku, Nowym Dworze Gdańskim, Gdyni i Lęborku.
