Noworoczny prezent dla kościerskich strażaków
Nowoczesny samochód ratownictwa wodnego za prawie 1 mln złotych trafił do kościerskich płetwonurków. Specjalistyczna grupa już od 18 lat działa tam w strukturach Państwowej Straży Pożarnej.
– Wyposażony jest w automaty oddechowe, bezprzewodową łączność podwodną między nurkami, a także zaplecze logistyczne – wymienia komendant Państwowej Straży Pożarnej w Kościerzynie Tomasz Klinkosz.
Obecnie 28 wyszkolonych płetwonurków zabezpiecza teren 6 powiatów na południu województwa. Środki na zakup nowego pojazdu pozyskano z funduszy unijnych. To średni samochód ratownictwa wodnego marki Iveco. Kościerscy płetwonurkowie wyjeżdżają co roku średnio do 10 tragicznych zdarzeń. Wczoraj również strażacy w Kościerzynie otrzymali drugi pojazd do działań operacyjnych. To samochód marki Skoda o wartości 74 tysięcy złotych. Środki na jego zakup przekazała Komenda Wojewódzka Straży oraz samorządy powiatu kościerskiego.
