Nowoczesny cystoskop będzie służył też do celów edukacyjnych
Wejherowskie starostwo i redzki samorząd sprezentowały nowoczesny cystoskop szpitalowi w Wejherowie. Pozwoli na przeprowadzanie endoskopii i będzie ratować zdrowie małych pacjentów . Szpital Specjalistyczny w Wejherowie wzbogacił się o nowoczesny cystoskop. Sprzęt za ponad 150 tysięcy złotych zakupiły wspólnie wejherowskie starostwo i redzki samorząd.
– To wydatek, na który nie mogliśmy sobie nie pozwolić – mówi wejherowski starosta, Gabriela Lisius.
Będzie służył też do celów edukacyjnych dla studentów medycyny.O szczegółach Marcin Szczepański. Na zdrowiu nie można oszczędzać to komentarz jakim samorządowcy podsumowali zakup. 100 tysięcy wyłożyło wejherowskie starostwo, 50 tysięcy dał redzki magistrat, pozostałe 4 tysiące to wkład własny szpitala. Sprzęt trafił na oddział chirurgii dziecięcej wejherowskiej placówki jednej z czerech, obok Słupska, Gdyni i Gdańska w województwie pomorskim. Cystoskop przeznaczony jest do przeprowadzania urologicznych zabiegów endoskopowych u dzieci: od niemowląt do 18 roku życia. Posiada ekran, który umożliwia obserwowanie przebiegu operacji wielu osobom na raz. – To bardzo istotna cecha, dzięki której takie zabiegi są w ogóle możliwe, poza tym jest to nieocenione przy edukacji studentów – mówi ordynator oddziału chirurgii dziecięcej wejherowskiego szpitala, Marcin Lesiński. Do Wejherowskiego szpitala rocznie trafia około 40 dzieci wymagających endoskopii do tej pory były odsyłane do Trójmiasta.
