Nowe radiowozy dla gdyńskich policjantów
Policjanci z Gdyni otrzymali dwa nowe pojazdy. Nowe Ople Corsa posłużą funkcjonariuszom w dzielnicach, które należą do najbardziej rozległych – Chyloni i Witomina.
Auta dla dzielnicowych są niewielkie i ekonomiczne, napędzane silnikami benzynowymi 1,2 litra. Połowę kosztu ich zakupu – 43 tysiące złotych sfinansował Urząd Miasta Gdyni. To część finansowego wsparcia udzielanego policji przez samorząd. W tym roku Miasto Gdynia przeznaczyło także 20,5 tys. zł złotych na nagrody dla wyróżniających się policjantów, 10 tys. zł na dodatkowe patrole prewencyjne i 40 tys. zł do budżetu Policyjnego Programu Prewencyjnego „Policyjna Foczka uczy zasad bezpieczeństwa”, adresowanego do wszystkich uczniów klas pierwszych gdyńskich podstawówek.
