Nowe – energooszczędne oświetlenie w Rumi
Jaśniej na ulicach, oszczędniej dla miejskiego budżetu – w Rumi zmodernizowano połowę lamp. Przy głównych ciągach komunikacyjnych wymieniono je na LED-owe.
Nowych, energooszczędnych lamp jest teraz w Rumi 1 tys 700. Miejski samorząd spodziewa się niższych rachunków za prąd, według szacunków ma to być 170 tys zł rocznie. Najpierw trzeba było jednak zainwestować – z miejskiego budżetu wydano na ten cel ponad pół mln złotych. Jednak lwią część kosztu pokryła unijna dotacja z Regionalnego Programu Operacyjnego Województwa Pomorskiego. Były to 3 mln zł. Instalację oświetleniową wymieniono na kilkudziesięciu ulicach, w tym m.in. Starowiejskiej, Sobieskiego, I Dywizji Wojska Polskiego, Ceynowy, Pomorskiej i Dąbrowskiego. Modernizacja objęła także naświetlacze przy skate parku w Janowie.
