Nowatorskie Centrum Zarządzania Energią ma powstać w Kościerzynie
Ma monitorować i optymalizować zużycie prądu i ciepła w budynkach użyteczności publicznej.
– Aby było taniej i ekologiczniej władze Kościerzyny planują też utworzenie Centrum Zarządzania Energią – opowiada Ewa Chmielecka z Wydziału Rozwoju Urzędu Miasta.
Na poprawę efektywności energetycznej miejski samorząd chce jeszcze w tym roku pozyskać 20 mln złotych z Regionalnego Programu Operacyjnego dla Województwa Pomorskiego. W planach jest między innymi modernizacja miejskiej kotłowni, w której węgiel ma być zamieniony na gaz, a także wymiana lamp ulicznych i rozbudowa sieci ciepłowniczej i energetycznej.
Inwestycje mają się również przyczynić do ograniczenia emisji dwutlenku węgla. Obecnie Kościerzyna zaliczana jest do miast o najbardziej zatrutym powietrzu w województwie pomorskim.
