Nowa oczyszczalnia ścieków w Stężycy już gotowa
Kosztowała ponad 12 mln zł, ale gmina na jej budowę nie wydała ani złotówki. Obiekt postawiono w rekordowym tempie – w niespełna rok, by wykorzystać unijne finansowanie.
– Chcemy pozyskać na to zadanie około 20 mln zł dofinansowania – mówi wójt Tomasz Brzoskowski – wtedy poziom skanalizowania gminy wyniósłby 97 procent.
Inwestycja była niezbędna ze względu na zagrożenie ekologiczne dla licznych w okolicy jezior. Stara oczyszczalnia nie spełniała rygorystycznych norm. Teraz w Stężycy przymierzają się do rozbudowy sieci wodociągowej i kanalizacyjnej. Oczyszczalnia w Stężycy dziś została uroczyście oddana do użytku. Niedziela będzie dniem otwartym dla mieszkańców. W godzinach 12:00 – 16:00 będzie można pozwiedzać oraz porozmawiać z fachowcami na temat funkcjonowania obiektu. (Foto: www.gminastezyca.pl)
