Nowa oczyszczalnia ścieków powstaje w Stężycy
Będzie nowoczesna, funkcjonalna i z dużą przepustowością – nowa oczyszczalnia ścieków powstaje w Stężycy. Jej koszt to ponad 12 mln złotych.
– Zakończono też roboty konstrukcyjne reaktorów biologicznych – mówi wójt Tomasz Brzoskowski.
Inwestycja była niezbędna ze względu na zagrożenie ekologiczne dla licznych w okolicy jezior. Stary obiekt nie spełniała rygorystycznych norm. Gmina pozyskała unijne dofinansowanie, a także pośrednie finansowanie z Wojewódzkiego Funduszu Ochrony Środowiska. Do września w Stężycy powstanie nowoczesna oczyszczalnia zabezpieczająca potrzeby wszystkich mieszkańców. W tej chwili trwają roboty wykończeniowe budynku socjalnego i budynku gospodarki osadowej. W planach gminy jest również rozbudowa sieci wodociągowej i kanalizacyjnej. Na to zadanie z nowych środków unijnych gmina chce pozyskać około 20 mln zł dofinansowania. Wtedy poziom skanalizowania gminy wyniósłby 97 proc.
