Nowa linia autobusowa powstanie w Wejherowie
Połączy osiedle Śmiechowo Północ ze szpitalem i osiedlem Przemysłowa, najprawdopodobniej w maju przyszłego roku.
– Inwestycja będzie kosztować około 200 tysięcy złotych, a linia ma zostać oddana do użytku 9 maja w przyszłym roku – wyjaśnia prezes zarządu wejherowskiego MZK Czesław Kordel.
Decyzja o utworzeniu nowego rozwiązania komunikacyjnego zapadła po spotkaniu mieszkańców – z władzami miasta, przedstawicielami starostwa i policji. Wśród zgłaszanych problemów największą bolączką okazał się brak połączenia autobusowego Śmiechowa i Przemysłowej z centrum miasta. – W odpowiedzi ratusz zadeklarował utworzenie linii autobusowej nr 6 – mówi prezydent Krzysztof Hildebrandt. Nowe połączenie to ponad sześć kilometrów od ulicy Rogali do Konopnickiej, w trasie uwzględniony jest również zjazd do szpitala. Autobus będzie realizował 12 kursów w dni powszednie i 8 w święta, a jego harmonogram będzie dostosowany do godzin lekcyjnych w szkołach przy ulicach: Nanickiej i Prusa.
