Najpierw ukradł paliwo we Władysławowie, potem nie zatrzymał się do policyjnej kontroli i spowodował wypadek w którym zginął i zabił dwie osoby. Do tragedii doszło wczoraj wieczorem w Rekowie Dolnym. Volvo prowadzone przez 41-latka ścięło jeden z zakrętów na tzw. Rekowskiej Górce – i zderzyło się czołowo z prawidłowo jadącym smartem. Na miejscu zginął kierujący volvo i jeden z pasażerów z tego auta oraz kierowca ze smarta. Trzy osoby trafiły do szpitala. Za osobowym volvo jechał policyjny radiowóz. Policjanci otrzymali wcześniej sygnały od kierowców jadących wojewódzką 216, że kierujący volvo może być pijany. Okazało się, że kierujący volvo chwilę przed wypadkiem ukradł paliwo na stacji we Władysławowie. Był to 41-latek poszukiwany listem gończym przez policję w Inowrocławiu, miał odbyć 10-cio miesięczną karę więzienia. Sąd też czterokrotnie orzekał wobec niego zakaz prowadzenia pojazdów. Dwie osoby ranne w wypadku zostały już wypisane ze szpitala, jedna jest w stanie ciężkim ale stabilnym. Biegli do spraw wypadków drogowych ustalają, z jaką prędkością jechał kierowca Volvo.
